November Favourites

The end of November brings a favourites post. I love these blog posts because I'm so nosey and I like to see what everyone has been loving each month.

First up is my guilty purchase of the month. I've been looking for this for months and have bought so many dupes of it but none of them have lived up to this little beauty. All the dupes I have bought are shiny and I am such a matte lipstick lover so I finally gave in and bought it. I was on Debenham's website buying presents and instead of paying shipping I bought a present for mysell aswell. I love this colour and it goes well with my newly coloured hair. This was £15.50 and you can get in debenhams stores or from the MAC and debenhams website.

I would be lost without this product! Urban Decay's Pore Perfecting Primer is my little miracle worker. This minimises the look of pores and fine lines and makes your makeup go on so smoothly. This one is for oily skin but they also have one for drier skin types. You only need a small amount because if you use too much it makes you skin greasy. You can buy this from debenhams stores or online from debenhams or Urban Decay for £19

This does exactly what it says on the bottle. This is a leave in treatment for hair containing Argan Oil from Morocco and it nourishes your hair while battling any frizz and protecting it from the elements. With me being blonde for so long my hair is in need of some serious TLC and a little of this product really helps the condition of it. A little of this product goes a long way and you can apply it to wet or dry hair but I've ever only applied it to my hair when it's at as I think it would make it greasy. You can buy this in Sally's Salon Services for £8.99 ex VAT with a Sally's card.

Chloe Eau De Parfum is a complete luxury, I bought this to myself for my birthday and used my debenhams beauty points and got some money off which was great. Every girl has the wee cheapy handbag perfumes that are used daily and then they have the good perfumes that are used for special occasions. This is my go to good perfume at the minute and every time I wear it I always get compliments and asked what perfume I'm wearing. It's a lovely subtle fresh perfume with a floral scent. It's currently 10% off in Debenhams and is £40.50 for the 30ml bottle.

Lastly is Vita Liberata Extra Rich Tan Lotion. In the winter months we can all look a little pasty so us girls need all the help we can get. For me with my good old Irish skin that burns at the first sight of sunshine I would be lost with out this product year round. This goes on so easily and has a guide so you can see where you have applied so there is no streaks.

Teamed with my fantastic Glove Your Body tanning mitt it takes 10 minutes to do. This develops over night and unlike many other developing tans this tan has no overpowering nasty smells which is always helpful. Vita Liberata is currently on promotion in Boots at the minute and is £15 with a saving of £7.50. You can buy the Glove Your Body mitt from Gordan's chemists and from their website for £14.99. I have a full review on this here.

This month I have really got into The Good Wife. I watched this when it first cane on TV then lost track of it so after a few people told me to watch it I got onto Netflix and was instantly hooked. I'm so interested in the love affair between Will and Alicia and just want them to get together. After watching Suits this has filled the hole nicely and I'm currently waiting for series 5 to go up on Netflix (hurry up).

I couldn't have been anymore excited about the Foo Fighters if I tried to be. They have been my favourite band for years and after finally getting to see them a few years back when they played T Vital I loved them all the more. So when whispers got out about their new album and then a programme tied in with it me and my sister could hardly contain ourselves. I wasn't disappointed, the new album is amazing and I loved the programme that went along with it.

That's it for my November favourites. Next month when I write about my favourites it will not only be a new month but a new year!

My Debit Card Hates Me

As the title suggests I've went a on a bit of a shopping spree recently. I thought I'd let you see what I've bought.

It's buy two get one free in Boots at the minute so when I went in to get the micellar cleansing water I made the most of this deal and got two of them and then got the eye makeup remover free. I also needed to get some blistex and cotton pads as the ones I have at the minute are just about finished and the cotton pads were buy one get one half price. Boots always do great deals and I end up spending a fortune!

I love this time of year when next year's diaries hit the shops. I always buy my diary from Paperchase and spend ages picking out one. This year was no diffferent and I had finally picked out one after about 20 minutes looking at every one of them. I was just about to go and pay when I spotted this little beauty, normally I'm not a flowery kind of gal but the inside of it completely sold it to me. Its so cute. The diary was £14.

Isn't it pretty!

Also I spotted some washi tape when I was in the shop and got it as I've been looking for some for a while. This cost £4.50.

I can never leave Paperchase without buying something, they have the cutest stationary and other wee bits and bobs.

I think every blogger is taking about Benefit's Christmas gifts and I treated myself to this little beauty. I had went to the benefit counter with my friend as she needed a new mascara and had no intention of buying anything and got so excited when I seen this.

I love dandelion and I'm nearly out of my hoola bronzer so thought this was a great idea. The bellabamba is amazing and I can't wait to try them all out. This is such a bargain at £29.50 as each of these to buy separately is £23.50.

Hotel Chocolat always has to be visited when I'm in Belfast. It has the best chocolate and they always have little samples for you to try. I had seen on Instagram that they had brought out chocolate fudge and then when I called into the shop they were sampling it and it tasted amazing so needed to get some in my life. Also their chocolate solids are so good with a cup of tea so got the Tiddly Reindeer. They are £5.50 and the Chocolate Fudge is £3.75.

This coat took me by surprise as I had said to myself that this year I wasn't buying a new coat and wasn't on the look out for one. When I spotted this I fell in love with it straight away and got it as it's such a good buy. It will go with everything and it will be lovely over the colder months. Its currently on sale in New Look from £49.99 down to £37.

I have been lusting over this scarf for absolutely ages so when payday came I knew I had to get it. I have such a soft spot for tartan and this matches up so nicely with my coat. This lovely scarf is a great bargain at £9.99.

This jumper has caught my eye on a few occasions and thought it would be lovely teamed with a pair of skinnies and a checked shirt underneath. It's lovely and soft and not that itchy wool which I just can't deal with at all. It's in New Look for £22.99.

Lastly is this bargain. I had originally bought this in River Island round February and ended up returning it because I couldn't justify spending £45 on it. I tried it on so many times and send photos of it with numerous outfits to different people but in the end I just didn't think I'd get the wear out of it for that price. That all changed when it went on sale for £25! I immediately needed it back in my life, I went online and they only had a 16 left and I needed a 12, talk about gutted. My friends went on the hunt but to no avail so I hit trusty eBay thinking I'd never find it and if I did it wouldn't be such a bargain anymore. Then I seen one in my size and the highest bid was £12 so I immediately bid £15 in the hope no one would outbid me in the 3 days left on the sale. I was in luck and there was no more bids so in the end I got it for £20 including shipping which was fantastic. I'm so glad I've got it now and have wore it loads already. There's so many colours in it it literally goes with everything. I love the print and it's a good thick blazer so it's nice and warm

Close up of the print

So there you have it for my shopping splurge. I'm now away to sit in my blazer and try out my benefit blushers while eating my chocolate.

Beauty Products I Regret Buying

Everyone has those products they buy and are totally disappointed with them after the first couple of uses. I thought I'd put a blog post up about these products to share them with my readers.

First up is Benefit's They're Real. My mum actually got me this for my birthday, she went to get the Bad Gal mascara and they recommended this to her instead. I'm so fussy about mascaras, they have to have a proper brush not one of those plastic comb wands. This doesn't have a proper mascara wand so I immediately knew I wasn't going to be happy with this product. But I gave it a try anyway and was so disappointed with it. Its clumped my eyelashes together so it looked like I had 4 spiders legs coming out of my eyelids with no way of seperating them. I like to do two coats of mascara to thicken my lashes up but it was impossible to do a second coat with this mascara as my eyelashes were so stuck together. I was in the benefit counter again recently and she was trying to sell me this product but I told her I didn't like it and she said you either liked this one or the bad gal mascara, you couldn't like both.

Next is Maybelline's baby lips. When these first came out everyone was raving about this so I couldn't wait to get my hands on one. After being out of stock in Boots for ages I finally got my hands on this one. This did nothing for my lips other than making them greasy I was gutted. After using by his for a whole day my lips felt so dry. My friend had been looking one and I said she could have mine because I wouldn't be using it, she bought her own and said the same as me that her lips were so dry after using it. I love the baby skin primer but this product just does nothing for me.

Next on my list is Soap & Glory; The Greatest Scrub Of All. It's meant to be a face exfoliater but its so rough I couldn't use itit as it actually hurt my skin. I found that if I mix a bit of it in with my usual face wash it's OK but I definitely couldn't use it alone as it would hurt my skin.

Last on my list is Topshop's Velvet Lips in Plush. Now I don't know if it's the same with all the colours or just this one but I used it once and that was enough for me. It doesn't go on evenly and when you try to build it up it wipes off with the applicator. And let's not talk about reapplication after eating or drinking! I reapplied after having lunch at work and it looked like I had some serious flaky lips going on, you would have to take it all off and start again which isn't good if your on the go. I ended up having to just put a lipstick the same sort of colour over the top of it to hide the mess.

So that's it for my products regrets, do you have any and if so what are they? I always love reading these as it helps me stay away from those products that haven't worked for other people.

Colder Month Staples

Now that it's getting colder outside I need to invest in some products so I don't look like a flakey mess! I thought I'd share some of the products I'd be lost without throughout the colder months!

First up is a lip scrub from Lush. One word to describe this product is amazing. Its smells and tastes yummy and gets rid of all that flaky skin on your lips. Its exactly what I need when wearing lipstick every day, it makes your lips so soft. You can get different flavours, but bubblegum is by far the best. Its £5.50 for 25grams and its lasts a lifetime so its definitely worth every penny.

Next up is Heel Genius by Soap & Glory. Anyone who knows me knows I use this as a hand cream as it's that bit stronger than hand creams and keeps my hands moisturised for longer. My hands get so dry in the colder months and I swear by this foot/hand cream. This retails at £5.50 and is currently on the 3 for 2 promotion.

Lastly it's Blistex Intensive Moisturiser. This is my total lifesaver when it comes to lip balms, I use nothing else. This doesn't leave my lips all greasy and shiny. This moisturises the lips instead of leaving a greasy coating on them which is what I love about it. I hate the likes of Vaseline which dry my lips out and end up making them sore. It also has a SPF10 which is great when the sun finally comes out. I always buy two or three of them so I have a back up and can put one in my hand bag and keep one and at home. This is £2.63, what a great wee bargain.

If anyone has any products they would like to share don't be afraid to comment below.

I'm on a mission to get back into regular blogging again, I've missed it and my readers too. So I hope to have a few more posts up this week.

The Halloween Tag

Sorry I've been away for a while I've had lots on and not enough time to fit everything in. There needs to be extra hours in the day!

After being tagged by rach for the stars I decided to do my my Halloween blog post. Halloween is my favourite time of the year, I have currently Halloween nails on, I'm rocking Halloween earrings and Jack Skellington is definitely one of my favourite Disney characters! I tag everyone who wants to do this.

Tag Questions:

1. What's your favourite Halloween movie?
Of course it has to be Nightmare Before Christmas! Some people may call it a Christmas film but to me its a Halloween film!

2. What game did you enjoy most at Halloween parties?
I loved ducking for apples. I could never do it so when I actually got an apple I was so pleased with myself!

3. Are you dressing up this year and as what?
No I'm not which I'm slightly gutted at, I love dressing up.

4. What is your favourite & funniest childhood memory of Halloween?
I loved when all of our estate used to go trick or treating. We literally had no costumes only black bin bags and homemade witches hat but they were the best times. Then coming home after and seeing your stash of sweets!

5. Do you like monkey nuts?
No but I love walnuts, I hate how you always only get 1 or 2 of them in a mixed nuts bag. I always had to get mum to crack the shell for me when I was younger cause I could never work the nut cracker!

6.Do you decorate the house for Halloween?
No I don't unfortunately, my family don't love Halloween as much as me.

7. What's your favourite Halloween treat?
Toffee apples used to be the best when I was a kid now I love the boo boxes from Hotel Chocolat!

What is the best costume you've ever seen?
My cousin in America dressed as a transformer one year and my nieces customes this year are amazing! They have dressed up as zombie prom queens.

What is your least favourite Halloween costume?
Ones that have no originality in them at all or the super short ones.

Have you ever repeated a costume and what was it?
No I havent, I always try to do bigger & better than the previous year.
My Halloween nails

Here are some of my favourite costumes

I don't have a photo of me in my outfit
but I loved this makeup

PicStick

A couple of weeks ago I got offered the opportunity to get a sample from PicStick. PicStick is an online company that puts your photos on magnets. PicSticks are high quality glossy photographic magnets, Each photo measures 50x65mm. They come in a grid of 9 photos that can be easily separated by tearing along the perforations or by bending them and they then snap off

You can make these on your computer, tablet or phone. I have so many photos on my phone so I used my phone to do it and it was very user friendly. You can also connect to Facebook and browse friends photos and use them which is great if you are doing them for a present. Once you have your nine photos selected they are added to your basket and you can make another set of nine or go to the checkout.

I thought this was a great way of displaying photos and got straight onto the website to get me some of those little beauties! To order the photos you need to create an account and once that was done I got straight to business and sorted out what photos I wanted to use. You can upload as many photos as you want and then pick which ones you want to use. When selecting the photo you want you can crop it, rotate it and make sure all you want is in the magnet and you're not cutting half a head off in the process. It was so easy to do and the hardest part was picking which photos would look best in their little magnet form! Any photos you upload are stored in your account so when you go to make more will all still be there which is great.

It costs £9.50 and shipping is free, what a bargain! That works out at just over £1 for each magnet. It's a great service and is great for making little presents for people.

You can buy yours from https://www.picstick.com/

Packing Light

I am ashamed to admit I can't pack lightly, no matter how hard I try it never works. The same rule applies when I'm packing up my make up. I decided to show you how much I brought with me for my weekend to Dublin in the hope that someone might share in my over packing problem!!

Everything I brought with me I used except for maybe one of the lipsticks so I wasn't packing for the sake of packing!

Urban Decay foundation primer, eye shadow primer & All Nighter setting spray.
Foundation - MAC Studio Fix for going out and L'Oreal Nude Magique for daytime .
Mascara - Benefit Bad Gal Lash for going out and Seventeen Falsifeye for daytime. I'm so fussy about my mascaras and hate comb wands it has to be the original brush mascaras as there is nothing worse than clumpy eyelashes.
Eye Shadow Palettes - Urban Decay Vice 2, Too Faced Chocolate Bar and Sleek i Divine Original. When going out I used shades out of all of these and couldn't go away with one palette as I like to have different eye make up for during the day and each night.
Lipstick - Revlon Colorburst Elusive & Showy, Maybelline Color Sensational Hot Plum, Sleek True Colour Lipstick Mystic, Lime Crime Airborne Unicorn & Rimmel Kate Matte Lipstick Kiss Of Life. Ok so I mightn't have needed 5 lipsticks for a four day trip but I need to be prepared for all eventualities (really not justifying it at all).
Lip Pencil -2  Mac lip pencils in Cherry & Magenta, and 2 Barry M lip pencils no. 7 & 2. Obviously bringing 5 lipsticks required four lipliners. I definitely have a problem!
Blush - MAC powder blush Pink Swoon & Stila Convertible Colour Peony.
HD Brow palette in Foxy.
Crown Brush Concealer Palette.
Mac Studio Fix Powder.
Benefit Hoola bronzing powder.
Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in Black.

So there it all is, I defintootly needed to bring it all with me and would have been lost if I only brough half of it. I am definitely a make up junkie especially when it comes to lipsticks (rehab is needed).

Weekend Away To Dublin

So this time last week we were living it up in Dublin's fair city. Me and the girls love our weekends away and this time Dublin was our destination of choice. We had pre booked our train on line and cost us £27 return which is such a bargain as it costs £42 if you pay on the day. We went on Friday afternoon and came home on Monday afternoon which was the perfect amount of time.

I was in charge of booking the hotel and boy did I get us a good one! Because my dad is from Dublin he was able to guide us in the right area and we ended up staying in Double Tree by The Hilton which has been taken over from the Burlington. It's close enough to the centre of the town but not too close that your in the middle of the rowdiness. We also got a choc chip cookie on arrival which was a definite selling point when we were checking out all the different hotels. The hotel itself was so welcoming and after our hairy taxi ride from the train station it was much appreciated. The room was nice and modern and everything possible had been thought of. Because there was three of us we got a triple room so it was a double bed and a single bed which was good because sometimes you get lumbered with a sofa bed and it's never as comfy as an actual bed. It was such a bargain too, for the 3 nights it cost each of us £90, everyone who I've told this to couldn't believe it was so cheap!
I would definitely recommend this hotel, I couldn't fault it in any way. If I'm going down to Dublin any time soon I will be rebooking Double Tree. Have a look at the website and see how amazing the hotel is for yourself.

On the Friday night we went out to Flannery's in Camden Street. Flannery's is a great wee spot and the music is great, although very random. One minute Oasis was being played, then old skool dance songs thrown together with a bit of modern pop! We got chatting to three fella's who were heading over to Whelan's and said it was a great wee spot so off we trotted over there and when we got in we couldn't wait to leave! It would have been grand if we weren't so overdressed, we walked in and everyone looked at us as if to say spot the tourists so we had 1 drink and hotfooted it back to Flannery's. We were having an early night on Friday to save ourselves for the Saturday so left around 1am and went back to the hotel and decided to have a drink in the residents bar where we happened to come across the Cardiff Blues rugby team and ended up sitting with them in the bar to 6am (so much for the early night).

On Saturday we had so many plans, get up early and head into town, have a nosey about before settling down in a pub and watch the hurling final. Well that plan went out the window when we all woke at 10am with severe hangovers! We dozed on and off all day in the hotel at one stage being rudely awoken by the hotel testing the fire alarm 3 times! That didn't help our sore heads at all. We ended up watching the match in bed with our bottles of water at one side and our junk food on the other dozing throughout the match! We finally surfaced around 7pm and we decided we ought to get food if we were ever making it out that night. We walked into town and paid a visit to TGI Fridays which pulled us around and I got a Starbucks on the way back to the hotel which had us ready to go. We got back to the hotel around 10 and got ourselves sorted to go out and were finally leaving the hotel around 12am! It feels so weird going out at that time but Dublin has a completely different way of living and it was great because there was no rushing and we could have a few drinks before going out!

We asked the taxi driver where was good to go and he named us a few places to go before dropping us off at Krystle in Harcourt Street. It was a brilliant wee spot and when we went to buy our second round of 3 Captain Morgan's, 1 Coke & 1 Fanta the bar woman told us you could buy a bottle of Captain Morgan and 5 mixers for €60 which was a great bargain considering our first round was €23. We left there about half three and walked to Camden Street to get food then headed back to the hotel. Unfortunately there was nothing exciting happening in the hotel bar so we headed up to bed.

The next morning we woke with fresh heads and headed into the town for a bit of sight seeing and playing the tourist. We walked around the city for a good 4 hours calling in at Trinity College on our way round. That's my first time inside and the place is amazing, going from the hustle and bustle of the busy streets outside to complete peacefulness and quiet inside is the weirdest sensation. We were going to call in and see the Book Of Kells but it had closed half an hour earlier so we walked around and took in the amazing view

After walking for most of the day our bellies got the better of us and we stopped in at Captain America's for food and it was amazing. It was exactly what we needed and after dinner we headed back to the hotel and cosied up in our pjs with a drink to finish off the weekend.

This building had us asking everyone what it was all weekend. It was the most random wee building in the most random wee spot, every time we walked past it into town we always slowed down so we could have a good nosey at it!

All in all it was an amazing weekend away as it always is when I go away with these girls. There's always so many funny stories that only we will laugh at because we know the story behind it (Balamory) and we will giggle about it for years to come.

September Favourites

I can't believe it's October already, September has flown by! With the start of a new month it's time for my September favourites.

1. Too Faced Chocolate Bar - This has been the best purchase I have made in a long time. When going on weekends away I always bring my Urban Decay Naked palette so made the tough decision to leave it at home and bring this to Dublin with me last weekend. I didn't miss the naked palette at all and used this so much. It has so many colours on it that you can wear day or night which is also what I love about the Naked palette. I couldn't pick a favourite shade in it as they are all amazing but there are four shades I have a definite soft spot for. They are Marzipan, Hazelnut, Creme Brulee and Haute Chocolate. They are all metallic colours and can be blended over the top of other matte shades on the palette to give them more depth. This retails at £45 which quite steep but it definitely worth the buy. I will be posting up a full review of this during the week.

2. Bed Head Totally Baked - This is from Bed Head's Candy Fixations range. I love this product it smells of lemon meringue and it works wonders on my hair. It adds volume without leaving a greasy residue on my hair which is what I need with my hair being quite greasy anyway. You put it on your hair when it is wet and then blow dry your hair as normal. With me having short hair it really helps pad it out and makes styling it much easier. It lasts forever, as a little really does go along way. This is my second bottle of it and the first one lasted me well over a year and that's me using it every time I wash my hair. This retails at around £8 and you can get it from Sally's or on line from different websites.

3. Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub - Yet another month where a Soap & Glory product makes it into my favourites. This scrub is amazing. It gets rid of all your flaky skin so you don't look like a flaky old lizard which is definitely not a look you want to be rocking! It contains smashed brown sugar, sweet lime, almond oil and macadamia grains. Any time I use it the bathroom smells of lime for ages after, its so yummy. I use it once a week to get rid of all the leftover tan from the previous week and it moisturises as well as scrubs which is great as some scrubs out there are quite drying on the skin. This body scrub retails at £8 from Boots and is currently on offer at 3 for 2. I also recommend trying the rest of the Sugar Crush range from soap and glory as it smells equally as yummy.

4. Burt's Bees Hand Cream - Anyone who knows me knows that I have a soft spot for banana flavoured/smelling things so when I when I seen this in Holland & Barrett I had to get it! The smell of banana hits you as soon as you open it and lingers on your hands when you use it. Burt's Bees is a great company and I love their lip balms as well. The only problem with it is that it's in a glass jar and if you're as clumsy as me you have to be very careful. Mine dropped out of my handbag on to the floor shortly after I bought it and the jar smashed, which meant I reluctantly had to throw it in the bin and buy a new one. Although it's a hand cream you can use it on your elbows, knees, feet or any other horrid little dry patches you want to banish! Its £10.35 and a little goes a long way so it will last a lifetime.

5. Rimmel Kate Matte Lipstick, 111, Kiss Of Life - If you haven't guessed already I have a slight obsession with lipsticks! I have been looking for the perfect red lipstick for a long time and after buying a lot of pinky reds and berry reds I finally found this little beauty! A few people had told me to try out Ruby Woo by MAC but I've seen a few reviews saying it's hard to apply and it dries out your lips which is never a good look. It's an orange red and teamed with my MAC Cherry lip pencil it is long lasting and doesn't feather or dry out my lips which is perfect. It's true to it's colour and one quick swipe is great coverage.  The packaging is great as it's bright red so it's easy to find in the bottom corner of my handbag. It retails at £5.49 and is a great bargain for anyone wanting to try it out.

That's my favourite products for another month and I look forward to hearing any products you have been loving this month so I can try them out and they might end up in my favourite post next month! Has anyone else noticed that I mention all my favourites this month except my lipstick smell good, I'm such a magpie when it comes to nice smelling products!

African Mango Tea - My Byron Journey

A few weeks ago I was sent samples of Byron Body Tea and have been drinking it for two weeks two so wanted to let you know how my teatox is going.

Most of the detox teas out there contains laxatives which taken over an extended period of time can lead to all sorts of health risks. So when I seen Byron Body Tea didn't have any laxatives in its ingredients I couldn't wait to try it out. It contains all natural organic ingredients that aids weight loss and suppresses your appetite. Unlike other teatoxes out there that rely on laxatives to make you lose water weight this tea actually helps you lose fat by boosting your metabolism and suppressing your appetite.

When the postman came with the package I couldn't wait to get it started so waited to Monday because health kicks always start on a Monday. You drink it 3 times a day 30 minutes before you eat so I try to have it breakfast, lunch and dinner.

When I opened the packet the smell I got was amazing, it smells so nice. It contains jasmine, myosotis sylvatica, mint, rosebud, rosemary, hibiscus, pu-erh tea and lotus leaves. You can read about the benefits of each of these ingredients on the website. You put 1 1/2 teaspoons into the diffuser and leave it in your cup for 5-7 minutes to infuse.

I couldn't wait to taste it after smelling how nice it was and I wasn't disappointed. It tasted really nice and there's a lovely after taste of mint. So many healthy teas taste like dishwater and it nearly kills you drinking it so this was a welcome change.

After drinking it for a few days I noticed that I wasn't bloated after meals and was feeling more energised and I have definitely noticed some weight loss with it as well which is great. Because I'm drinking my tea before each meal it makes me more concious about eating healthily.
After two weeks of drinking it I am completely in love with this tea and will definitely be getting more after my packet is finished. It tastes amazing and has great benefits what more could you want from a detox tea? On Saturday I put on a pair of skinny jeans that were tight on me before and fit perfectly now so I was a happy girl.

All in all I would definitely recommend this tea for anyone looking to detox and live a healthier lifestyle. You can only buy it from their website at http://africanmangotea.com.au/  The 14 day detox is $33AUD and $9.50 shipping which works out at £23 which is great value. If you want the diffuser it costs $8AUD which is worth it because he looks super cute chilling on the edge of the cup.

Gym Bunny

This week I have been super busy being fit and eating healthy (go me).

I went to boxing on Tuesday for the first time and I loved it. I had went to MMA training a few weeks but the class was cancelled coming into the summer so I needed something to fill that space and boxing has filled it nicely. I'm fully back at the gym now and I'm back to loving it all over again, especially more this week as I've not been as sore.

I had seen that Oomf had banana protein porridge out and really wanted to try it as I love bananas and Oomf porridge is so nice. So when I seen it in Holland & Barrett I had to get it and couldn't wait to try it out. Well I was disappointed; I didn't taste any banana in it at all. Its really nice so will be finishing it off but will be adding my usual teaspoon of peanut butter into it. I also love the Skinny Oats in the pots as they are handy for when you are on the go. My friends laugh at me as I have been known to take them with me when I go on weekends away in case I get hungry so I got a couple of them for my weekend away to Dublin next weekend.

A few weeks ago I was sent samples of Byron Body Tea and have been drinking it the past couple of weeks and definitely feel that it is working for me. I will be writing a full review on it this week so keep an eye out for it.

Yesterday I had a rare Saturday off and after spending the morning in the gym I went out for lunch with a friend and had a much needed catchup. I have loads of different wee groups of friends and sometimes it's hard finding time to have catchups with them all but I'm doing well at the minute and thankfully getting to see them all without leaving anyone out.
Mary's is such a good spot for lunch on Saturday and we ended up having a drink after and sitting for ages just talking about random stuff and having a good gossip over our pint of Magners.

This week will be a busy week for me trying to get ready for Dublin. Between pampering myself and packing and fitting that in between work and the gym will be tough going but as I said to the girls yesterday come Friday at 2 o'clock when we're sitting on the train we can all relax and enjoy the weekend. Why is it when girls go away at the weekend we need a week before to get ready, men definitely get the better deal on that one! Not one of us girls will go away without getting hair done, nails done and tan done it's nearly a habit now and then there's the packing! We need outfits for the day, outfits for the night and those spare clothes just in case. And don't forget the 6 pairs of shoes we bring with us for four days!
